Popular spots in Barcelona
When it comes to entertainment and nightlife, Gràcia district is a perfect choice. The quarter is full of small bars with a good mood, so you will certainly not be disappointed.
Gràcia Latina is a small but cosier Latin bar with live music, a dance floor and a fabulous Caribbean atmosphere. Two other nice bars are Sutton and Bling-Bling. There, you will find mostly friendly locals.
The exact opposite of the Gràcia Quarter is the Olympic Village where it is all about outdoors and self-adventure. Get up to clubs, huge crowds, tourists, overpriced drinks, impersonality, superficiality, etc. Other similar spots include Opium, Pacha and Eclipse.
Tips for Barcelona nightlife
- From a fun point of view, avoid La Rambla.
- Watch out for pickpockets.
- For men, the dress code is pretty loose, but women are pretty, especially in the clubs, where they almost wear evening dresses.
- The nightlife begins at the bars where you can get around after dinner.
- People are drinking until 1 or 2 am, and then go to clubs that are open until 5 or 6 am and are usually full.
