How to repatriate relatively large amount of soles to France in Euros.

robinpapafio

Hi,

I am looking for advice on the best, and obviously legal, way to repatriate approximately 250,000 soles that I hope to receive for the sale of a plot of land that I own in Cajamarca back into my bank account in France.

I am due to receive this amount of soles into my savings account in the Banco de la Nacion when the sale transaction is complete at the end of this month.  I then need to repatriate the majority of this to my bank account in France fairly quickly.

I will have all the legal documents for the proof of sale, payment of sale tax to SUNAT, etc, as the transaction is being done with a notary (notario).

I don't think that a bank to bank transfer of this amount is possible .... ?

Advice from anyone who has gone through te process would be greatly appreciated.

Why can't you just wire?  thats 85k?  Its not that much to flag any issues for Peru I don't think unless its an issue for France?    Other option would be to wire it to a crypto exchange and set up accounts to send to and from, but a simple wire should be easy enough.
