Finding job

05/06/23 @Aziz Benarafa.  If your nephew is in Brazil on a tourist visa or a student visa, he will not be allowed to work legally and he will be fined if he overstays his visa.  If he's discovered to be working for pay, his visa will be canceled and he'll be told to go home.

If your nephew is in Brazil on an immigration visa that permits employment, he's probably still out of luck unless he speaks excellent Portuguese.  Brazil is effectively a monolingual country and the official unemployment rate is 8.8%; the real rate is undoubtedly higher.  Under those conditions, there are several Brazilian candidates available for every desirable opening, and there's a strong preference for hiring Brazilians first.

That sounds like some Middle Eastern name. 

Your place to seek for employment is on Sao Paulo's East Side.  Starting from Downtown in Braz.

M ost arabic businessmen settle in downtown ( Rua 25 de Marco, Rua da Cantareira, Rua Barao de Duprat ).
