Transfer money from USA to Brazil friend tax?

Hello
I bought a house with my Brazilian girlfriend. I transferred money from the USA using transfer wise to my gf’s Brazilian account to pay for the house.
Will this money be taxable to her?

Just before I moved here, I was sending my wife, then girlfriend, a lot of money via trasnferwise. All she had to do was prove the money was already taxed, which it was in the UK, and everything was fine. The only problem was it disqualified her from being a dependant I believe, if that could be an issue.

Thanks. My girlfriend is not a dependent so okay there.
Not quite sure how you demonstrate that the money is taxed. Can you explain?

You need to show your tax records in the country the money originates basically. I showed my tax returns to her accountant as a precaution if she ever got audited. So far it hasn't happened though but it's probably a good idea to have that info handy just in case.
