Today is Women's Day. Who really wears the pants in Brazilian Society?

Brazilian women wield considerable influence in everyday life, particularly in household management, social life, and finances. However, larger structural power (political, economic, and legal) still leans toward men. From my perspective, Women run the show in Brazil. They organize family gatherings, hold tight to the finances and usually outlive their spouses by decades. In short, they run the show. Any feedback?

@bepmoht It is 84 degrees year-round in our small village in Northeastern Brazil. No one wears pants. We do, however, live on an immense property with several houses which my wife owns.

I think that she is the "boss" and she thinks that I am the "leader".  If we start discussing this, we will get into a "uma conversa polêmica".  So we stopped doing that. Men and women need each other.
