What are the requirements for acquiring citizenship in Bolivia? For example, length of residence, language requirements, employment etc..

What formalities are involved in the process?

What is the policy on dual-citizenship in Bolivia? Do you have to give up your former nationality?

What are the advantages and benefits of acquiring Bolivian citizenship, in your opinion?

I hope somebody will respond to this post from Bhavna. These are the questions I would also like to know. Previously I had been granted residence in Bolivia unfortunately I lost my residence after returning to my native country the UK for a period of time. I am now starting the process of applying for a spouses visa so that I can be re-united with my Bolivian wife. I so much want to make Bolivia my home
