Relocating to PNG

bayte

My wife is a Papua New Ginean national, Australian citizen, and  the both of us will move back to PNG next year.  Are there importation restrictions or exemptions to bring our furniture and tools purchased in Australia to PNG.  Same thing for a pre-owned vehicle.   To clarifiy; free of or reduced importation duties

Hello bayte,

Welcome to Expat.com 😀

For questions regarding importation restrictions, exemptions, or duties for furniture, tools, or a pre-owned vehicle, it is best to check directly with the relevant authorities in Papua New Guinea. They will be able to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding customs regulations and possible exemptions.

Wishing you a smooth relocation!
