Me and my family wants to move to Canada, we want to try something new before the children get too old and will have a harder time fitting in.
The plan is for us to go in 2020.
Its still plenty of time to make sure you get everything right before its time to go but we think that the more information we get, the easier this road will be
We've read travel blogs, migration blogs, government sites, and a greater amount of vlogs on YouTube.

My partner "M" is in school to become an Nurse, M will graduate in 18 months (3 terms) and is seen as our ticket to Canada, as there is a lack of RN (Registred Nurse).
Myself do not have a 3 year education, but have worked for a construction company a team leader and also some sort of project leader.

We have had email contact with some hospitals in Canada as well as NNAS which is the center for the Nurses that wants to go to Canada. I have also been in contact with Ashton University in Vancouver to see that my grades from high school still hold for education at their school.

But now it starts to feel that what you read is the same as everywhere. So this thread is aimed at you with experience, maybe you have been in the same seat.

In our plan, the move will take place in about 19-24 months, maybe unnecessarily long, but we think you should have a lot of time planning and fixing with accommodation, kindergarten / school, job / study, visa etc.

In what timeframes do things need to be done? EDUplanet wants to go to school 4 months before going, what happens if I do not come in but M has got a job and the children's kindergarten?

Many questions exist but we do not want to throw everything directly here.

Also, sorry for the rusty english, its not everyday we use it, but its slowely coming back.
Also we are taking classes in advanced english so when the time is right, i think our english will be fluent, kinda.

Um by the way I don't think Toronto is a great place for you and your family to move in to canada therefore I don't recommend for you and your family to settLe in Toronto so in this case I'd highly recommend that you move to either here in Calgary Alberta which is my town of residence Ottawa Vancouver British colombia or Edmonton Alberta 3 hours north of Calgary there They provide excellent state welfare social benefits and child support services as well as lower crime rates quaheri!

I’m mara and I’m going to move to Canada July 2019.

It only just became real for me and right now I’m dealing with all the stress of getting things done.

Need to sell my house, pack up my life, transport my animals, don’t forget the kids!..

So I'm currenlty shopping for moving firms, pet transporten firms, etc

I’m going to Castlegar, where i’ll BE attending college, in octobre where I’ll be testing the waters.

There I need to find a school for my eldest, an affordable 4 bedroom for rent, find a car, see iF my international drivers licence can be exchanged for a valid BC one, since my Belgian can’t and I only have seven days to do it.

So any support, advice and help on any of my items on the still to do list, is welcome 🙏

First things first I suppose, hows your eligibility?
Have you used the come to Canada tool to see if you’re eligible to go to Canada?

Because everything is based on wether you can get to Canada.

Immigration laws have thouroughly changed in the last year alone.

So before you start time framing, start with finding out it you will et a pr, which program you’re eligible for and what you will need to do.

You need to get language tests: Ielts and tefs ( they’re not cheap and mostly available within to to three months ( at least in Belgium)  you need to have your diplomas equated. By WES or another organisation. You need to see if nurse is a registered profession in Canada and if her diploma can be equated. All that before you can use the Canada tool and find if you’re Eligible.

It took me two years to get everything done and I only have a study permit. Which means I need to or from Canada IF and WHEN I finish my grade there and still no promises.

Finding a job from abroad is near to impossible, unless you can find one through participation to something like the destination Canada job fair..
