It is everyone's wish to feel valued at their work place where by you are not easily replaceable. Not these things of you asking for an extra leave days and all your Boss tells you is “....if you can’t be here tell me i find someone else”
Well i guess it all comes down to taking on informal jobs that anyone can do cause i don’t think it so common with Professional Experts

Actually what i meant was, you can easily be replaced when your job type is informal but when your job is of a professional expert then the company can value you more hence not being easly replaceable
