hey everyone.

i'm new in this blog. i'm from Turkey, Istanbul. Now, I've got a job offer from dubai. I'm an accountant but i would be work for purchasing department and the salary will be 10.000 AED. No accomodation or transportation allowance. I'm married and no child.Is it worth to go or not?? I need your advice ppl. thank you soo much in advance.

I'd suggest if you can negotiate a bit more !
and it also depends on the fact that how much you're getting in turkey !

james thanks for asking.. right now, my experience is 7 years as an accountant and i'm making approx. 1.200 USD in turkey..

whats your suggestion about how much should i negotiate more?

You can manage your life on that salary; but will not be able to meet major expenses or save much. The figure offered is just the minimum for a couple to live. Half the salary would go on Rent, utility. Then you have transport (say 700), food (say 1500), home expenses (say 1000) and so on. Hope your employer would cover you both for leave tickets & medical insurance. Schooling is very expensive so when your family grows you will have more challenges.
