I had exactly the same experience yesterday . A person driving a SUV, asked me for directions to the airport. He was very well spoken & well dressed. He handed over his "Emporio Armani" visiting card ( name on the card was Mr Pascale ) and tried convincing me to accept for free, branded suits. I refused to accept any gifts, and informed him that I do not have any hard cash on me. Exact same story as other already mentioned.
