I received a job offer from "National Drilling Company" in Abu Dhabi as follows and would like to know if its a scam

3 - Compare email received to actual site.

This is definitely a scam... These guys are good. I almost resigned from my job before figuring this out. If you look at the email address it is cvrecruitment@ndc-ae.com. It should be cvrecruitment@ndc.ae. When I noticed this I googled the phone number and found it connected with a bunch of email addresses for other "companies" imitated emails. I've seen a number of contracts in oil and gas and like I said, these guys are really good. The names they use in the offers are actual employees of NDC and in my case they demonstrated pretty detailed awareness of the actual job function. I've been dealing with them for weeks and they haven't asked for anything sensitive yet. I'm going to play along for awhile and see what their game is. Gotta watch yourself out there.

I totally agree with you on this. Searching for work in the UAE is full of peril if you allow your emotions to make your decisions for you. Be prepared to follow through with due diligence to determine the authenticity of the offer. Excellent background work here on the job offer letter by the way! This is how everyone should be fact checking and back checking any job offer regardless of who is sending it to you or what country it is in.

It is hard to say since it is lacking clarity. What is the position that you have offered? Have you attended any interviews for it? How much is the salary mentioned in the offer letter? Any way, the draft shows something fishy since they have explained a lot about the procedures.
