There's always a need for foreigner teachers in Istanbul. But summer season is coming up so its like low season. You can start googeling language schools and applying for some before coming here. Some provide contracts, travel tickets etc. When you come here its also possible to find a job just by applying online or walking in to a language school. Also, if you have the correct certificates and enough experience, you might be able to make it in a university or high school. They usually request NATIVE SPEAKERS. Well, the definition of NATIVE SPEAKER here is that you are originally from a country that speaks English as a first language, you are a national of USA Canada Australia England etc.. If you have such a passport and qualifications such as CELTA TEFL etc then your chances are high. If not, well then it depends on the how desperate for teachers is the school you are applying for, but there are a lot of foreigners here so a lot of competition for teaching, but then again there are a lot of schools too..
