Degree Mismatch Case

Guys,

I need help. My visa stamping got rejected, I spoke to an officer in the Consulate himself. He said that I have a general B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) degree which do not have computer subject, so i cannot be able to go in "Electronic Computer Engineer" visa.

But, He suggested that i request my company to send me a labor visa in which case my degree would not be required. But, i am afraid if i get labor visa stamped then i would not be able to bring my wife over (important for me). If i go on such visa , will i be able to get my profession on iqama changed and my wife in KSA?

I have experience in my field. So will experience letters from previous companies have any value to successfull stamping ? Other than that, I have GNIIT certificate and also a Microsoft Certification in my name.

Will those be of any help ?

Don't think NIIT and Microsoft certificates would help.

If you come on a labor visa then you gotta be sure that your company will give you necessary docs for certificate attestation for change of profession. Even though it'll take another year or so to get your wife here if you come on a labor visa and get things started from here.

Else try paying up at the embassy or ask your company for another visa such as supervisor etc

Does supervisor visa get family status? And will it need any other degree than my already attested bsc degree? What visa apart from labor I can get stamped for which will help me in getting family?

Finally, if I do get labor visa stamped won't they be telling me the same thing for Job profession change in KSA? Or is it easier from there?

Supervisor I think just needs any bachelors for attestation and does provide family status.

Changing from labor to a profession that you want for family status is both easy and tough.

Easy in the sense you just need your company to apply for change in profession and submit your certificate to get it done.

Tough in the sense, maybe the SACA may reject a change in profession from labor to engineer and may question the company on how a labor suddenly becomes an engineer type.

Lastly, this is KSA, anything can happen for the best or the worst. You can not apply one law as it varies from person to person...

I think better you try to get another Visa profession before proceeds to KSA. Accountant,Any specialist etc. type profession also can bring family here.Just discuss with the company and tell them to issue any other visa which can match with your degree and should be eligible to get family status. Changing from Labour to engineer will be difficult and time consuming.Your experience letter,real experience or any certificate courses will do nothing for KSA. They will consider only your degree and visa profession.

Depends...Sometimes you get lucky else you'll have to get your certificate changed

This is the latest proceeds regarding visa stamp , so that other people in the same boat can know what to expect in my situation

My visa request was rejected by the consulate they said i need an engineering degree but i have a simple B.Sc degree (with no Computer science as well in the subjects).

When i contacted the company they said that they can send me Computer Technician.
Al Hind said that they can try and get stamp if i get visa and change the delegation from Mumbai to Delhi. I asked the company for it but the company said that change in delegation is not possible and look for some other agent.

Any solution ?

Or is it time for me to look for a different job offering altogether (who can send me visa compatible to my degree)?

Tough situation if it's still in Mumbai....Try to find out for a stronger agent with a better presence in the Mumbai embassy who can get it done...Else another visa...

Tough call for you brother me too in a same situation agent but my recruiter is good and told me, he'll process other visa still I'm waiting for new visa. He has applied for it

Meannwhile I suggest you to let this process keep on going and try for solution with your HR only bcoz rules are getting strict now and counselate are not accepting other visa for any other degree " YOUR VISA SHOULD BE MATCHING WITH YOUR PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION keeping it in mind bcoz i was given same reason by authorities when they rejected my visa app.
Go for Mumbai or delhi and search for other opportunity as well.

Request your recruiter politely if he can change your visa matching to your degree profession

It is not possible....Sorry....There is only the slightest chance of it happening....

Your mode of study should be regular as it has to be stated by the university to the KSA embassy...

my brother do u have finished your b sc degree certificate attestation or not tell me if u have finished just come to labour visa and here u can change u r visa to any good forman visa then u can bring u r wife to saudi but main important the your degree certificate must be attesation from saudi embassy its more enough bro

What if Degree certificate is attested for another country lets say, UAE Embassy Certificate Attestation(As far as I know Original Degree Certificate with Regional HRD on it & Passport Copy is enough for the attestation process)?.Is it acceptable Saudi Arabia?

Nope...Offer letter and all the other required documents are needed for KSA embassy attestation..

Nope.

As long as MHRD and MEA is concerned, it is ok.
But its a must to get you documents attested by the embassy of the respective country you need to visit.

bt i have to know that . again how many days approximately to wait ... or else i hav to wait another email o wat....?

Be patient and wait for another 30-45 days, if nothing happens question your agent regarding the status.

Or else you can start bugging your agent now itself!

The way the process works in the UK.
1. Request a copy of your Qualifications from your University or college be sent directly to the Saudi Cultural Attaché or www.qualifcations.pearson.com/en/suppor … cates.html Approx 10 working days.
2. Cultural Attaché stamps and sends message to agent to say it's ready for collection. 15 working days
3. agency submits to the Notary to stamp then 1 day then to foreign Office to attest. 1 day
4. Agency submits to the Saudi Embassy with passport. 3-5 days revive visa.

Hello sir,

I've completed my PhD degree in part time as I working as an assistant professor at the same time in the same university.. I had submitted my documents for attestation.. Saca has rejected and returned the certificate.. What do I do now? University says that they have no say in this issue.. I'm anxious.. Can you help me out?

Have you get your attestation done? I have given my Degree certificate to an agent for Saudi Attestation? It's been 4 months, but it's not done yet. When i am pressurizing my agent : his answer is " Sir, Saudi Embassy already sent your Certificate to your University, but they are not receiving any response from your University. In fact they have sent 2 times, but didn't received response, they will again send one more time. If still they do not receive response then they will keep your Certificate under Block List he said". He also said that he is trying to get the information from Embassy that when they sent document and details, but he is unable to get those details he mentioned.

So in this case what to do?

In case of Duplicate degree certificate, what document s required for saudi cultural attestation. please proper guide me , i am stuck at this process.

My agent Ask for FIR as a proof for duplicate certificate but in this case FIR is not possible because certificate does not lost or stolen but it is damaged and get duplicate certificate from university by submit original damaged certificate.

Show that damaged certificate(if it is with you) to your agent, this would be your possible solution.
