Can wife travel with Iqama from her father after marriage?

manfromcanada

Hi,

My wife is in Pakistan and holds an Iqama through her Father. We got married recently; is her Iqama still valid? Or will they prevent her from entering since she is now married? I do not live in Saudi Arabia nor hold an Iqama.

There is no issue as the Iqama is still valid.  Marriage doesn't change anything while it is still valid.

@XTang Thanks! I kinda expected that, but someone said after marriage the wife can no longer be under her Father's iqama.

Read what I wrote i.e. while the iqama is valid which means current iqama.  This issue is only going to come up at renewal time.
