Iqama Status changed to " Suspended "

Hello

I am facing a problem.
I went on final exit before one year and now came on new visa.My sponser make my iqama after one month.its a freelancer visa.Now i found a company and want to transfer.But unfortunately my iqama status changer to "SUSPENDED FOR WORK"  and the new company cannot make a transfer rquest.My sponser told me he is clear and nothing did by him.
Now please some one tell me what should I do? Should I go perosonally to Labour or jawazat office to change the status?
I am not sure about old company that they can do it or not.but they dont know my arrival and i came back after one year complete.
