Original Marriage Certificate is required at ETIMAD Pakistan or not?

Hi All,

Anyone has recent experience or knows about the details of requirement of Original Marriage Certificate at ETIMAD center in Pakistan, to process Mother In Law visit visa.

We took appointment from Etimad but when my mother in law visits the Etimad center they demand original marriage certificate (they have the copy of it) when my mother in law told that the original is in KSA with me they said if we submit your application with copy of marriage certificate then we take no responsibility or guarantee of visa stamping from Embassy.

Is it really original document needed or copy will be ok, as I heard that original is only needed in case of wife visa?

Please if somebody faces the same issue or have any details about this.
