I tried this website but it does not seem working

If you're STC Postpaid customer, then I suggest using MySTC app you get about 25 free messages every 2-3 days

I don't think anyone can count on free SMS in KSA. You can google and will get plenty of such service providers internationally. The problem is: most such texts *actually* never get delivered to the cell phones especially on Saudi numbers. Reliability is the issue.

There are paid services; for example this one is from Mobily:
