where to buy homeware

Now we live in a compound and life is getting better. After 2 months in the hotel this is a paradise for me. The flat is not bad but some decoration is required. Do you know any big shopping center where I can buy things for the house starting from paint and ending  to rugs, something like Leroy Merlin.

well ,,, i think IKEA is the best choice
Yeah, IKIA is the best, it's not cheap there, though. You'd find it on the big east road.

Ramon,
Thanks for your replies but in IKEA there is no paint, wallpapers and glue and all that stuff. All things in all countries are the same, really don't like it. Are there any other options?
Hello ExpatMama,

When I was living in Khobar, I used to go to Saco for paint and DIY products.

I checked their website and they have a locations all over KSA and namely in Riyadh.

Don't remember however if they have wallpaper!

You can always check out their webiste.

Hope this helps! :)
Cheers
Arlette
Thanks a lot Arlette. I'll do that
Also check Home+, a do it yourself furnishing place.

No paints and such...but lots of housewares for every room.

Paints and such are found, where else?  The local paint store.

SACO is pretty good, but has a limited selection of paper.  They could probably order you any paper they have in their catalog though.

It's affiliated with ACE Hardware in the USA, which provides (generally) very good DIY products.
