Been a Toyota addict(since ...1982),I would say that if you need just a comuter to bring you to work and back(and in the weekend to the nearest beach)then Yaris is just fine,
but if you want some more(e.g.excursions at the weekend),I agree with the rest,Corolla/Auris is worth every penny you pay more for it.
If I am not mistaken,both models sold in the KSA are made in Japan!
In my country of origin,Greece and the rest of E.U. as well,they are made in other countries than in Japan(UK,France,Turkey etc)which sometimes can result to lower quality.

what's with the "yuck" in the first place?
It's already biased and seems you already got a pick even when you asked the question.

Its been ages since I see cars with manual window thats what the 'yucks' for. Anyway, I resorted with Yaris due to cost efficiency...If I need a good drive thats gonna be with my beemer back home. Thx guys for d feedback.
