Employer threatening my 60 days grace period

LAH222002

I have resigned after finishing my 1 year contract, was accepted by email and in Qiwa, and I received my final settlement and signed for it , but they are threatening me that I have 12 days to leave and not the government allowed 60 days.

I have been to labor many times to confirm this, but she continues to send me threatening emails telling me i must leave in 10 days from the date of my last contracted day. Actually, i have been given 3 different days by the employer all by letter that I refused to sign and was given flight money to book my own ticket.

Can the employer for any reason cancel my Iqama and force me to leave before my 60 legal days?

Hello LAH222002,

Welcome to Expat.com 😀

I just wanted to check in and see how things went regarding your 60-day grace period situation with your employer. Were you able to resolve it?

Looking forward to your update.
