Question: Benefits of SCE & How can it help one find job in KSA?

Hello,

As the title states, my question is two-state, how can SCE membership (if at all) help one find a relevant job in KSA. Since I do not speak arabic, it's hard to really dig for information on their website. Is there a job portal specific to SCE members in helping one find a job here?

If SCE membership is just a ruse to pilfer money off you (i.e not relevant at all), then how can one go about finding an engineering job whilst being present inside KSA other than through a connection, or a relation.

Hi Sarim,

For us expats, SCE membership is required to renew our Iqama. And additional Certification on our resume. It also gives us discount for Car Insurance in the Tawuniya app. But didn't avail since I found a cheaper one from Bcare.

Their training program is in Arabic so not much benefit. For job hunting, it can get us the benefit to be easily hired for Technician or Engineering jobs.

In getting a family resident visa, SCE membership is also required if you have Technical/Engineering title.
