Duration of Iqama Issuance

Hello

I came into Saudi at the ending of August, started work early September. I am yet to get my Iqama, my medicals has been approved, please does anyone know how long it takes because soon it will be 90days which might attract penalty or deportation. I spoke to my sponsor, he told me he sent it for insurance.I don't understand. Kindly shed more light.

@Mar_amdy Is there any possibility to extend your stay ? In some cases, the entire process can take a few months.

your employer will need to provide all the necessary documentation, including your employment contract and other required paperwork, to the Ministry of Labor and Social Development.

You will be required to visit the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) to complete biometric data, including fingerprinting.

The Saudi authorities will conduct background checks and review your application. This step can take some time.
