Religion change on Iqama

Hi Friends,


Recently my family received their Iqama. Unfortunately, their Iqama has a different religion mentioned even though my iqama has the correct one. Can anyone help with the detailed process for changing the religion on Iqama for family members?

It's not a big deal. Visit your local authority (Al Jawazat) for corrections.

Can you detail the procedure? Should I directly visit the Jawazat or does my employer has to take the appointment and then I visit it? The process is not mentioned anywhere on any government portal. Maybe I missed it.
