Annual vacation + air ticket

Hi. I would like to know if I could encash my air ticket if I decided to take a local vacation as per Saudi labor law.

You are entitled to a ticket and annual leave.  Encashment is not covered by labor law and instead, is subject to company policies.  Some companies allow for it whereas others don't.   Check with your employer.

@XTang  - I am new to this forum but would you happen to know which article in KSA law states that the employee is entitled to an "annual vacation ticket" - it does state the an employer is responsible to repatriate though. I might have missed it but would you be able to let me know which article says this? Thank you @XTang 👍

Article 40 but the law is silent on annual vacation ticket.  So it is usually determined by the policies of the employer.

Thank you @XTang - 👍

From what I know so far , You cannot encash but you can use convert the ticket to voucher and use it for local flights within the kingdom.

@XTang
