Place of birth change

Dear Sir


I applied for an indian visa. Unfortunatelly i got a mistake in typing of birth place. I typed India instead of Bahrain. He was born in Bahrain. Now i tried to change in visa modification there no option for that. In QVC they did not allow him to enter inside. So please reply me. How can i change it.
