Right Cervical Rib with a Mild Apical Pleural Thickening on left

Dhanish Mahmudh

I have been diagnosed with above as per the GAMCA centre initially, then they took an Apical View.

Now they are saying I have a shadow on my lungs, they didn't mention anything regarding Pleural Thickening. I have checked with a Private Pulmonologist who checked my X-Ray casually and told I have Cervical Rib on right. Turns out to be on left too I have a cervical rib which is not fully developed, showing as similar to pleural Thickening.

As I know, Gulf countries are worried mostly about Tuberculosis, however, With my current findings Saudi Arabia is not an option.

I checked with some and they said QVC has a separate medical centre and they allow for medical referrals. Will the QVC provide me a referral for Quantiferon test upon the identification of my Pleural Thickening/ Shadow on my lungs? I never have/ had any pulmonary pathologies or any other medical conditions in the past apart from Dengue which was similar to virus flu 8 years back.

I would like to get some advise in trying to move to Qatar.
