Hi arharsh46

As far as my knowledge goes, there is one public library in Mina Al Fahal, somewhere near the PDO complex.

Though officially called the 'Public Knowledge Library', it is more commonly referred to as the PDO library.

I have been there and it is a pretty decent.

No membership is required. Visitors can walk in.

Apart from the above one, I do not know of any other public libraries. Even if there are, they must be stocked with only Arabic books and other publications, all in Arabic.

Hi arharsh46,

Adding to what I have mentioned above, today, by chance, I noticed a new building with a pretty prominent bi-lingual signage which said 'Children's Public LIbrary'.

This new building is in the approach road on the way to the Qurum Amphitheatre, a little after after 'BeachOne'.

I also see a Public Library (at least thats what the board says ) in the Chamber of commerce Building opposite Muscat Securities Market.

Though I am not sure what kind of books they have .
