Insurance for fertility treatment or pregnancy in oman

Hi,

Please let me know is their any insurance which covers the fertility treatments like IUI or IVF ,

secondly if any insurence coverage or a good package for the pregnancy

No insurance covered for infertility treatment as well as IUV and IVF.
If you have company policy you will get the delivery expense claim.
No one cover for pregnancy.

First, you get it treat the infertility issues. If the infertility issue is minor then it can be solved from here.. otherwise go to India and treat it if you are indian.

As mentioned, there is no insurance policy that covers fertility treatments. This is an elective treatment and as such, no one will cover it.

Employer provided insurances will cover delivery and pregnancy check ups. But if you get it as an individual, there will be a waiting period before pregnancy is covered. Usually, it is a year.

Hi XTang,

Most employers' insurance coverage for their employees will provide basic coverage only.

And most definitely the following would not be covered :

(1) fertility treatment
(2) pregnancy check-ups
(3) delivery charges
(4) dental procedures
(5) ophthalmic related
(6) beauty treatment
(7) cosmetic surgeries

In some rare cases, exemptions could be there.
