DUI Conviction and effects on Arab Country Work Permit & Visa

Hi folks.

After much (MUCH) application, disappointment and sore fingers. I have finally obtained an offer of employment to an Arab country, Kuwait.

I have been charged with DUI in 2014, but due to legal process and court proceeding trying to dismiss the charge (unsuccessfully) , I have only been convicted 2019.

I did read on here that a gentleman did manage to obtain a work visa/ permit as the offence was not weighted. But I have accepted the letter of employment and am told Visa application is underway, so very nervous about it.

My Embassy doesn't say much other than they cannot issue without a clear record, but being an alcohol free/ dry state, what is the reality?

Please, please advise me friends
