Hi, I'm about to finish my contract with my employer soon. I was wondering how does the visa transfer work?

My contract is for 2 yrs. Do I need to spend another year with my employer to be able to request a release?

As per Kuwait labour law, you must have to cpmplete 3years. Than you can ask for release..

@rijoshi1230 you don't need to spend another year unless you wish to. Obviously your employer is aware and normally they will give you at least 3 months to find another employer. Both companies(their mandoobs) will meet at shuhum and make the transfer. In fact, your presence wouldn't be needed. Its a matter of passport submission
