Read what he is asking. Tourist visa and a 5 year visa are different things - 5 year visa comes with a paper CPR number i.e. you are not a resident but because of a paper CPR, you are also not a visitor. There are exceptions e.g. :

1) Paper CPR holders with 5 year visas
2) When the spouse is a Bahraini citizen
3) When one party to the marriage is resident and the other is a visitor - permission from Ministry of Justice and facilitated by the relevant Embassy

Hi,, is this marriage allowed in Bahrain - one party is on a visit visa and the other party has a residence permit. Both parties are expats.. pls let me know. thanks.

@XTang I wanted to enquire if An Expat resident in Bahrain can marry another expat on visit visa to Bahrain and procedure for the same. Sorry but I didnt fully understand your reply here.
