Notice period

GuestPoster235

Hi everyone,
I have been working at an institution since last jan and now I am on my notice period which will end next week. I am not in a contract and on a dependent visa.I have the copies of me and my spouse's documents submitted.  If I discontinue right away, are there any chances of consequences?
Thanks

As far as I understand:

Working on a dependent visa is illegal.

That means that you have nothing to worry about if you leave.

Thanks

Are cases like this normal here in Bahrain?
Do they chase anyone if they do not show up..If yes, what is the maximum they can act on..
I'm worried because they have the copies of our documents.. that's all.

95% they won't bother.

Almost 100% nowadays that they won't bother due to the virus issues :)

Cool
What can be the best excuse not to show up which is also convincing coz I don't have anything on my mind right now😁

Just say that you want a  visa & contract from them before starting to work.  That's all.
