Convert UAE Driving Licence to Bahrain Without Physical Card

Hello everyone,

My UAE driving licence is valid until September 2028. However, I have lost the physical card and cannot obtain a replacement because I am no longer a UAE resident.

Could someone please guide me on how to approach the Bahrain driving licence authority? Is there any possibility that they might accept a digital copy of my licence, an RTA Driving Experience Certificate, or proof from the RTA website?

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has dealt with a similar situation.

Its evident from the responses is that they keep your UAE driving license, so most probably they will need the original, however you could try visiting the traffic directorate isa town and see if there is an alternate
