Possible Legal Actions upon Resignation

apchamara

Dear All

I have completed 4 months at my current company. I recently received a job offer from another employer and submitted my resignation (by hand, email, and post). My current employer threatened to take legal action if I resigned. I would like to know the following:

1.    What legal action could my current employer take against me?

2.    What precautionary measures can I take?

3.    Can my current employer blacklist me (impose runaway) if I did not commit any fraud?

4.    If I go back to my home country, is it possible to come back to Bahrain if the new employer arranges a work visa for me?

need your feedback

Thanks in advance.

@XTang please sir, I resigned from my company and I have pink card, but my employer didn't release me, and I left the company one week ago. Now they are calling me threatening and also telling me that they didn't receive my resignation and that I didn't train my replacement even not handleover the company uniform. This company didn't give me even a chance to handleover that's why I left. What should I do because they haven't cancelled their visa from system. Thanks
