Planning to move to Sweden

GuestPoster041

Greetings everyone !
I have planned to move to Sweden . As an English speaking Indian what are the job suggestions available for me .I am a fully qualified teacher ,and worked as one for the past 15 years .I have few questions regarding my migration .
1. Can i get a job in Sweden without knowing the local language ?
2. Will it be possible for me to get placement as a student and then get a job to settle there?
3.Is it possible to get a work permit for me easily ?
Please clarify .Thank you in advance.

welcome to the forum!

No, (However those who come as skilled workers they come already with a job contract, basically to work in English language but they also learn Swedish to some level after they arrived.)

2. [i]Will it be possible for me to get placement as a student

Yes, you can apply visa as a student for a master degree or further higher education but you have to prove that you have sufficient funds, you can read exact figures, terms and conditions and all that you need to know some where here https://www.migrationsverket.se/English/Startpage.html

Technically a student can also get a work permit but how many hours a student can work prior to credits and some other information concerning limitations and so on are matters you should have as the second step because those only will be relevant if you would succeed the first step. Good luck!

Another thing maybe worth mentioning, the kind of jobs students take also require Swedish language skills most of the times.
