German family planning a move to Tenerife

My family and I are considering a move from Germany to Tenerife in the next few years.

We have children and would like to learn more about daily life on the island, especially regarding schools, extracurricular activities, healthcare and integration into the local community.

For families already living in Tenerife:

* Which areas would you recommend for families with children?

* How is your experience with public and private schools?

* What do your children enjoy most about living on the island?

* Is it easy to make friends and build a social network?

We visit Tenerife regularly and love the climate and lifestyle, but we would like to hear real experiences from residents.
