Matriculation of 2002 Vespa PX125

Does anyone have any experience of matriculating a UK registered 2002 Vespa scooter? The speedo shows both mph and kph but the odometer displays miles. Presumably the speedo can’t just be replaced because the mileage/kilometres would be incorrect. Can the speedo be recalibrated to pass the ITV? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

One thing you have over looked. Before arriving at the ITV station, you will also need to ensure your headlight aims to the right (to avoid blinding oncoming traffic) and present documentation like a Certificado de Conformidad (CoC) or a Ficha Reducida.
