New members of the Spain forum, introduce yourselves here - 2026

Hi all, Liam here. I am not moving to Spain; I research it. Every month I read the two big housing price indexes against each other (idealista and fotocasa, same month, same district) because they often disagree, and that gap is where the risk sits for anyone renting or buying. My focus is Madrid. If you are deciding where a budget actually works there, ask and I will bring the verified figures with their sources.

I am 70 yrs old and live near Murcia Spain ,I have a wonderful partner Magda who is Spanish and lots of pensioner friends In my area

Hello everyone!

I'm Glòria, based in Girona, Catalonia, where I've been working in the real estate sector for over 10 years.

I'm a Property Finder and Buyer's Agent, helping people who want to make Girona, the Costa Brava or the surrounding countryside their new home.

Having lived abroad myself, including several years in New York, I understand both the excitement and the challenges of settling into a new country.

One of the things I love most about my work is helping international buyers discover not just a property, but the right place for their lifestyle, whether that's a vibrant city, a charming village or somewhere surrounded by nature.

I'm joining this community to share my local knowledge, exchange experiences and hopefully help answer questions about life and buying property in this beautiful part of Spain.

Looking forward to connecting with you all!

Glòria
