My wife and I are considering moving from Texas USA to Pontevedra, following a lot of Internet research on which cities and towns are preferred by American expats. We are attracted by Pontevedra because of the relative small size, the green spaces, the walkability, affordability of housing, and the overall "cozy" feel of the city. I am a Spanish speaker, and my wife mostly understands it and speaks a bit. We would like to hear from any English-speaking expats in Pontevedra to get your impressions on what the city is actually like and whether our long-distance assessment of the city is generally correct.
