Moving Finances to Russia

Has anyone moved to Russia in the past few years? How are you managing your money? It’s very difficult to get money into Russia and also not sure if it’s a good idea to move all your money. Maybe best to leave most out of the country and just move about a years worth at a time? What do you think, and what has been your experience?
