Porches and Almancil

Hi,

Our plan to purchase a place near friends in Querenca has fallen through--or hit a rough patch for the moment. Our realtor has suggested places in Porches and Almancil, which we are not really familiar with, but our friends say are nice, though slightly further away. Anyone on the forum familiar with those locations?

Hi,
Querença is further inland in the Algarve, about 25 km from the sea.

Porches is near Lagoa, about 40 km away from Faro airport.

Almancil is between Vilamoura and Loulé, near Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago, ... with several golf courses nearby, is more expensive than Porches.

Both towns are well served by motorway and near the airport. Both have water parks nearby and other facilities, more than Querença.
