Golden Visa Process - Biometric Schedule

Hello, I'm new to the forum. We've elected to make a real estate investment for the Golden Visa program, and my family and i have been working with a Portuguese firm for the process. The property has been purchased and transferred (months ago, actually), and right now we're waiting for a schedule to upload our Biometric information at the SEF. Has anybody had any recent experience trying to get a schedule? Supposedly it's been difficult, but I just want to get confirmation since our process has been taking much longer than was explained to us. I understand the pandemic is a very large factor, I'm just very curious about other applicants' recent experiences with the SEF. Thank you, all.

These SEF delays are due to the pandemic, but not only that... There are political issues that are delaying processes. This is a long story and it's not meant to be explained here...

As you are being supported by a portuguese firm, they can explain it to you better.

Thank you for that, JohnnyPT. The firm has been addressing my concerns the best they can, but I feel they can't fully divulge the situation (perhaps related to the reasons you're referring to). We're just feeling a bit anxious, as it's been quite a few months of waiting and we would very much like the residence period to begin. Thanks again.
