Retiring to Portugal

Hi. Andrew, I am from fl. also and thinking about retiring to Portugal, was planning on going in July to visit first, for a few months, but with the virus all is delayed.

Nidialore,
We're planning to leave FL for Portugal on August 1 for a month. Some in Lisbon but mostly in Porto and surrounding areas.

Assuming, we like it, we'll plan to move there about January or so when we receive the temporary residence visa.

We speak Portugues and lived in Brazil and Argentina. We know what it's like living in other countries.

I'll check cost of living items and can update this thread when we return.
