I recently ordered something through a website called www.gin4all.pt. Unfortunately I am not able to get in contact with the company though their phone number and through their email address. Now I wanted to make a complaint through the Complaint Book. However, I cannot find the company on the Complaint Book (even by using the advanced search). I am worried that I might have fallen victim to a fraudulent business. Unfortunately I made my payment via Multibanco.

Does anybody know what I should do now (except writing this off under lessons learnt)?

You can find a link on the site that you are mentioned here, at the bottom of the page: "livro de reclamações electronico". This site is powered by CTT, so it seems to me to have some legitimacy.

Thanks for your reply. I did exactly as you write. But when I search for the company in the "livro de reclamações electronico", then the company doesn't come up. I try searching by name, the website and the telephone number, which all lead to nothing. Does every company in Portugal need to have a complaint book?
