Can I rent a room in oslo and what wil be the cost approxitely.

Hi everyone. I like Norweigian people an was thinking of spending some time in the capital oslo by renting accomodation like a small room in a house share or something. Is there anyone here who can guide me as to the best way possible to go forward.

you can find rooms on finn.no but these are probably expecting people who will stay a while, not a short rental.

The costs for the Oslo area seem to be around 5000 NOK per month and up

If you're looking for a short rental they might be cheaper though. In that case, look for ads that mention "korttidsleie"

Do you know a good place to practice bokmal I am trying to learn it. I have by ha much luck with the London community on the net and I have also tried to contact norweigian natives but nothing seems to be working.

I was told once that in a collective (several people sharing a flat) in Oslo central area, the rent is usually approximately 8000kr per person. I am unsure if it includes utilities as well.
