Visa and work in Rotterdam

I want to live with my daughter in Rotterdam and I want to get a work contract in any of my fields of expertise so that I can get a residence visa for me and my daughter. - @Walaa elprince

It is not easy.

Family-wise, your daughter can't sponsor you. You can read about the visas available on the Dutch Government (IND) website; this link will take you straight to it. I've only ever heard of it for where a family member is wholly dependent on that person (so, for example, you were of ill-health, had no care available in your home country and were dependent on your daughter to care for you); they do check with home nation care/social departments.

Work-wise, it depends on your expertise; if you're a doctor, scientist or engineer etc, you shouldn't have a problem.  To get a decent job anywhere in the world, you need the following:

1. Relevant and current qualifications.
2. Relevant experience
3. Speak the local language
4. Luck

You can do the maths on how many of those boxes you tick. In the Netherlands, these visas are only available for non-EU citizens when there is nobody else resident in the country who can do the job, they call them Highly skilled migrant visas and the future employer must sponsor you through the process.  Again, you can read all about them on the Dutch Government (IND) website; this link will take you straight to it.

So, how do you find these jobs?  One way is to join something like LinkedIn, then reach out to your peers already working in the country you are interested in and ask them who is hiring and where, you will then know who to send your CV to.
