Looking for property, preferably in the historical district

Hello,

I will be returning to Lecce in July, for my 4th visit in the past 8 months.

My partner and I are looking for property, preferable in the historical district, but we have seen some homes a few km outside. My partner speaks Italian, and my mediocre Spanish helps me to understand a bit, but not enough to speak any Italian at all. We are joining expat.com in hopes of finding insider info on life in Lecce as a local expat sees it, any info will be greatly appreciated.  I am just getting started and exploring the other Italian/Lecce forums.
