You will need to find a job then apply for a work visa. The company should be able to inform you of the procedure.

But i heard i have to take an exam or i should go to university for a year at least. My sister has a dental clinic near milan , she also took the exam so that she could get registered

If your sister has gone through the process then talk to her. But you have to make sure that your qualifications are recognised in Italy, I guess that's why your sister needed to take a test.

Yeah she is already helping me out but the problem is that she took the exams but I don’t what to go through exam i rather go for 1 year study in university, so now we are figuring out how to . But thank you anyway for your answers 🙌🏽

Hello everybody, Im a dentistry student in Turkey, this summer i'm going to graduate and my future plan is to move to Italy in 2 years. But as you can know, there is a diploma equivalency problem. Can anyone please explain me the procedure about getting equivalency, any advices? I know the first thing is to learn the language well, and after i assume I need to take exams. But can anyone that took that exams or know any idea about exams can inform me the difficulty of the exams or the details about the procedure. I would be so grateful.

@Bhavna yes i am dentist but can't speak Italian

Cheryl

Hello Dr Zia,

To work in a customer-oriented role, serving both expats and locals, it's essential to acquire at least the basics of the official language. This will enable effective communication with your patients.

All the best,

Hi, My name is Zarnish, a recent graduate in dental surgery from Pakistan. I am thrilled to explore the possibility of pursuing a dental career in Italy and would appreciate guidance. Firstly, could you kindly confirm if my Pakistani degree is recognized for dental studies in Italy and if there are additional qualifications or exams required? Notably, I already hold an Italian residence permit, although my proficiency in Italian is currently a work in progress. Additionally, I'm eager to gather insights into the key steps, deadlines, and essential documents for practicing dentistry in Italy. Lastly, I would be immensely grateful for any recommended resources or networks to connect with individuals who have successfully pursued dentistry in Italy. Your expertise is invaluable, and I look forward to embarking on this exciting journey with your support!
