Teachers....

On 30 November 2019 teachers are expected to protest in the capital Budapest in opposition to alleged adverse working conditions and low pay. The demonstration was organized following failed negotiations between a union representing educators and the government.

Demonstrators are expected to gather at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in the city's District V at 12:00 local time (11:00 GMT). A march will then take place en route to Kossuth Lajos Square where a rally will take place from 14:00 β€” 15:30 local time (13:00 β€” 14:30 GMT). Thousands of attendees are expected, though the protest is likely to remain peaceful.

"Travelers are advised to anticipate localized disruptions to overland travel and should follow all directives of local authorities".
